Shipping & Returns

1Order dispatch

In-stock orders are normally dispatched within 1–3 working days of order confirmation. Large institutional orders, hospital furniture and made-to-order items may need additional time, which we will confirm when you order. You will receive tracking details once your parcel is dispatched.

2Delivery times

We deliver across India through trusted courier and freight partners. Estimated delivery after dispatch:

• Metro cities: 2–4 working days
• Other cities and towns: 3–7 working days
• Remote locations and large furniture consignments: 7–12 working days

These are estimates and may be affected by weather, strikes or courier delays.

3Shipping charges

Shipping charges depend on weight, size and destination and are shown at checkout or on your quotation. Bulk orders may qualify for free or discounted shipping — ask our sales team. Furniture and heavy items may carry freight and unloading charges.

4Damaged or incorrect items

Please inspect your parcel on delivery. If an item arrives damaged, defective or different from what you ordered, tell us within 48 hours of delivery by emailing modernsurgicals@gmail.com or calling us, with your order number and clear photos of the item and packaging. We will arrange a replacement or refund after verification.

5Returns policy

Non-sterile, unused instruments and equipment in original condition and packaging may be returned within 7 days of delivery, subject to our approval. Please contact us first to get a return authorisation. Return shipping is the buyer’s responsibility unless the item was damaged, defective or sent in error.

Custom-made, modified or used items cannot be returned.

6Non-returnable items

For hygiene and patient-safety reasons the following cannot be returned or exchanged once delivered, unless damaged or incorrect on arrival:

• Sterile products and sterile-packed items whose seal has been broken
• Disposable and single-use items (masks, caps, aprons, blades, catheters and similar)
• Items that have been used, washed, sterilised or altered

7Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7–10 working days after we receive and inspect the returned item. For credit-account customers the amount will be adjusted against your account. Shipping charges are refunded only where the return is due to our error.
